The Flex is the big brother to the standard Flex. Out of the box, it features an upgraded tri-clamp racking arm, tri-clamp butterfly valve and upgraded high pressure lid and clamp that can handle up to 15psi. The Flex was designed to be the most versatile, upgradable and longest lasting small batch fermenter on the market. With over 25 accessories (and counting!) you'll never run out of pieces to customize your Flex with.

The TC-100 temp control system will manage both cooling and heating of your FLEX. The digital controller's temp probe inserts into the included thermowell that attaches to the secondary port of the FLEX. Also included is a specially fitted neoprene jacket which features reinforced port holes to reduce the chance of ripping during install. Lastly, (and maybe the coolest item) is the special insulated tubing. This greatly reduces tube cooling losses and will prevent your cooling lines from sweating all over your floor during the dog days of Summer!
Cooling:
When the temp in the FLEX rises above the set point of the controller, it will turn on the pump submerged in your cold water reservoir (bucket of ice water, aquarium, glycol chiller, DIY AC chiller, etc). This will pump cold water/glycol through the temp control coil, which mounts to the lid, cooling your beer until it reaches the controller set point.
Heating:
When the temp in the FLEX falls below the controller set point the optional heater will kick on warming the unit up to the desired temp.
