Do I Need Class 2 or Class 3?
Class 2 Safety Vest standards are meant for environments that have traffic moving between 25-50 mph. Examples of jobs that use class 2 safety vest are: landscapers, toll booth operators, airport ground crew, electricians, warehouse workers, waste management, parking attendant, & construction away from high speed traffic. These examples are general examples. Please use your own judgement, knowledge & employer requirements of your work environment to decide the correct classification needed. If speeds are greater than 50mph or more visibility is desired, please see class 3 safety vest.
